PROJECT 6: INTEGRATED PROJECT: DESIGN & BUILD ‘AN AMPHITHEATRE STAGE’

PROJECT 6 : INTEGRATED PROJECT : DESIGN & BUILD AN AMPHITHEATRE STAGE

For this project, many people in different major work together to produce an amphitheatre stage. Our group's design concept is turtle shell. Look at the pictures above, we can find out the roof shape is very similar to turtle shell.

This is our amphitheatre stage ‘Amphiturtle’....I like the turtle shell molding. The lighting is very awesome too, shining shining just like karaoke.

PROJECT 5 : SENSE OF PLACE : NEIGHBOURHOOD & COMMUNITY

It is a very special project for me because I have went many places to complete this project. I have choose Siara 81 at Sungai Ara as location for this project. I have went there together with my friends to do research and observation. Beside that, we also went to Jabatan Pemetaan Tanah in Komtar and Siara 81's contractor firm to get the information of Siara 81. We feel rejoice that we have meet many kind people and get help from them.

PROJECT 4 : PRESENTATION DRAWINGS

In this project, I am require to produce a plan and elevations(front, right, left and rear) drawings for the L-shaped chair that I have done before. Actually it is easy to me while it just has a little bit trouble for the measurement.

Beside that, I also require to produce an axonometric drawing and a perspective drawing for the L-shaped chair too. It is fresh to me and I have learned about wwhat is axonometric drawing and perspective drawing, and also learn how the way to draw its.

PROJECT 3B : OBJECTS CONNECTION : A COMFORTABLE CHAIR

For this project, I needed to design and create a L-shaped chair that can be located in the area of HBP. The theme of design is UNITED. So my group have decided to use puzzle and toy brick concept for our design. We have used mounting board and foam board as the material of the L-shaped chair because of its cheap price. Well, this is a wrong decision to use mounting board because it is very difficult to cut and its periphery is not smooth after it have cutting out. After this project, we have earn valuable experience for doing a model.

PROJECT 3A : OBJECT CREATION : A FREE-FORM SCULPTURE

The sculpture that I create is a pair of fishes, which one is black and one is white in colour. Both fish combine together to form a symbol of yinyang. The theme of this project is HARMONY. In my opinion, harmony also can comprehend as balance. Yinyang was talked about the balance affect in the world.

I have used steel wire to do the skeleton of fishes first and cover it with white tape. Last, I colour one of the fish into black colour by using maker pen.
